City of Dalton Employees - Your username is your Employee number (located in top left-hand corner of your pay stub) and is the same as your TimeClock Plus (TCP) user #.

If you have never logged in before, your password should be the last 4 digits of your SSN. You will be prompted to change your password.

If you do not know your username or are still having problems logging in to ESS, please contact your department payroll representative for assistance.

Citizen Self Service - Occupation Tax, Hotel Motel Tax, and Mixed Drink Tax can be paid online. A user account will need to be created through the “Register” tab on the log in screen.

Occupation Tax customers will need the business “account ID” and “owner’s CID” to access bills. Both of these numbers are on all mailings received from the City Clerk’s office. For assistance on obtaining these numbers contact the Clerk’s office at 706-529-2490. All payments submitted online will be reviewed prior to posting to account. Receipts or Certificates will be mailed by the Clerk’s office.

Hotel Motel Tax and Mix Drink Tax can be paid online after the monthly tax form is emailed or faxed to City Clerk’s office for bill to be processed. This can take 24 hours (Monday-Friday) to be completed. Please submit form by 18th of the month to have invoice processed by the 20th due date. Fax form to 706-529-2491 or email to: jchavez@cityofdalton-ga.gov and rsissom@cityofdalton-ga,gov. You will receive customer number and invoice number by fax or email in order to process payment. A user account will need to be created through the “Register” tab on the log in screen. Customer Number and Bill Number will be needed to access account.
